POSTCARDS

I had the opportunity to explore the oeuvre of Musea Brugge and curate a new collection of postcards. After a careful selection process, we gave five postcards a new identity. I was inspired by the museum’s stunning collection, ranging from medieval classics to miniature art with all its intricate scenes.

My work always starts from existing material, which I transform into something new. The change is purely visual, but I always respect the original dimensions. The selected postcards were painted on, then scanned and sent directly to the printer. The prints and original works are almost identical, allowing you to enjoy a mini-original in your own home.

These works can be found in all museum shops within Musea Brugge.
